Rent-A-Center (RAC) is an American rent-to-company that manufactures, offers, and retails furniture, apparatuses, and electronic gadgets. You will find 2400 stores in 48 states. Customers complain about the rental being expensive with poor assistance from the side of customer care. With so many drawbacks your mind will lead you to cancel the contract and ask for a refund back. But a question that does Rent-A-Center gives refunds or not.
Your answer is right in this blog so go through it carefully so that you can fully understand the terms and policies and know the way to get the refunds back.
How do I ask for a Refund From Rent-A-Center?
If the service of RAC is not satisfactory and you want to ask for a refund then we are sorry to say that RAC is non-refundable to the users and the refund policy is also vague. You cannot get much information about the Rent-A-Center as there is no such information available regarding the refunds. It simply expresses the rights of a consumer considering discontinuing the approval and returning the rented items.
If you search you will find that the American Laser Center also does not grant refunds. You just have the choice to return the rented items and halt your payments during the rent cycle. If the items are returned before attaining ownership, RAC will offer a voucher for payment protection and in that case, your payment won’t squander. If you wish to go with the agreement you can restart in 2 years. RAC will maintain the records of the payment transactions and you will not be charged any termination fee at all.
You can redeem the voucher of payment protection from the website of Rent-A-Center in three valid ways:-
- Restart the agreement:- The voucher will be applied to the agreement that is restarted, and the things you returned will be given to you after the agreement is re-established.
- Request a different item:- The price of the new product you bought with the voucher can be reduced by selecting the desired option. Get reduced up to 90 days off for the new item.
- Giving the voucher to another person:- If you give the credit to another person, from the original agreement he will take control over the payments and the item will get three months off that you first rented.
The state laws that refunds directly would be beneficial, however numerous governments don’t provide such protocols and if they provide laws they are not so useful as sellers decide to create their terms and policies on the refund. If the product you received is defective then the firm is under a valid obligation to give you a refund.

At times the refunds are granted by the company, but the policy should be clearly stated otherwise no refunds. The seller who rents the item should display the policy of refund clearly but if he fails to do so the customer is benefitted from a refund a few days after purchasing. The Federal Trade Commission or FTC consumer protection regulation has approved the conditions.
